Stay Cool When the Asphalt Is Sizzling Outside

Help, the car seat is burning hot! Anyone who’s had to park their car in the blazing sun knows that unpleasant feeling. A lambskin car seat cover provides the solution: sweating and sticking to the seat are a thing of the past. Read the testimonial from our customer Dominic Bachofner below.

Faux leather and leather heat up significantly in the sun. Hot fabric covers also feel less than inviting. Lambskin does a better job: Its crimped wool fibers trap countless tiny air pockets. They form a natural insulating layer between your body and the seat. This helps prevent heat from building up. And you can sit comfortably even on hot days.

While lambskin doesn’t actively cool like an air conditioner, it naturally regulates temperatures: cooling in the summer and warming in the winter. That’s why this car seat cover is worth it all year round.

No More Sticking

Lamb’s wool also demonstrates its natural strengths in humid conditions. It can absorb up to 30 percent of its own weight in water vapor without feeling damp, and later release it back into the environment. Fabric covers trap sweat, and synthetic materials often stick to skin and clothing. The surface of the lambskin, on the other hand, stays dry longer.

You’ll get out of the car feeling more relaxed—and won’t have to carefully peel your shirt off the seatback first.

Lambskin—for natural temperature regulation in the cockpit.

Comfortable on long flights

The soft, woolly lambskin pad doesn’t just improve the comfort of the seat. Its elastic fibers distribute pressure evenly. This relieves pressure on the body and makes sitting for longer periods more comfortable. You’ll benefit from this on your drive to your vacation destination, on extended trips, or during your daily commute.

The lambskin is especially welcome in older vehicles without climate-controlled seats. And in a camper? There, too, it provides greater comfort and an extra touch of vintage charm.

Durable and Suitable for Everyday Use

A lambskin car seat cover can withstand a lot: It’s abrasion-resistant, easy to care for, and flame-retardant. Special tear-away seams ensure that the seat airbags function properly. With our models, you can choose between two sizes: The S/M model has a pile height of 12 to 14 millimeters. With the M/L model, you’ll sink 18 to 20 millimeters deep into the soft fleece.

P.S.: Your hands will love lambskin, too. Steering wheel covers made from this beautiful natural material are becoming increasingly popular—especially among people with sensitive hands who have trouble tolerating a hot or ice-cold steering wheel.

“Anyone who spends a lot of time in the car will really appreciate the lambskin seat covers.”

Our customer Dominic Bachofner from Hermrigen, BE, purchased two lambskin car seat covers in June and July 2026. We asked him what prompted him to do so.

“Mainly the heat. On our trip to Scotland and back, we’ll be spending a lot of time in the car. The expected temperatures are on the high side, so the seat covers should keep the T-shirt on my back dry ;)”

Many people think lambskin is only for winter. What convinced you that it makes sense specifically for summer vacation?

“I worked in aviation for a long time. Lambskin is often used on airplanes for hygiene and comfort reasons. That’s why I knew about the valuable properties of these covers in hot weather and during long periods of sitting.”

Will you remove the covers again after the vacation?

“No. We’re very happy with them—they’re helpful even for short trips in everyday life. They’ll stay on.”

Did the size of the cover meet your expectations?

“Yes, I ordered a M/L and am very happy with the fit. Installation was generally easy and self-explanatory. However, I wish there were two slits on the top for the headrest arms so you wouldn’t have to punch the holes yourself.”

Would you recommend the lambskin covers to other customers who are also planning a long summer road trip?

“Absolutely! I’ve already spent many hours on the cover, and I wouldn’t want to be without it! I think anyone who spends a lot of time in the car will really appreciate it.”
